Hey, I'm Flavia.

My journey with photography started ten years ago in my home country, Argentina. I fell in love with the possibilities that opened up for me with a camera in my hand, and I felt like photography infused me with the courage to embark on new adventures. From Argentina to Brazil and finally, to where I currently reside in Costa Rica, photography has given me the key to explore new countries and cultures, which has helped me learn more about myself and the world.

I have captured images of one adventure was moving to Brazil to do tourist reports in the north of Brazil. When I returned to my country, I dedicated myself to newborn photography. Portraying families for me put me under a spell. I can feel the flow of love in every session, in every shot. If you ask me why I like to take photos, the answer is MAGIC. There is something in the pictures that I cannot explain in words; it is as if invisible energy floods me from within and connects me with the beauty of life in a profound way.

Two years ago, I came to Costa Rica with a job proposal in an "All-Inclusive Hotel" chain. My horizons expanded by offering portraits and sessions to the families who came to the hotel, but I also felt a bit empty inside.

At the time, I was "struggling" with my self-esteem issues, and that lifestyle was not helping me at all. So when I decided to change the environment - and the hotel - I began to explore nude photography. At first with curiosity, then with passion. I discovered that exposed, natural, and vulnerable bodies, as they are, contain much beauty.

Those imperfections that we try hard to cover make us who we are, and we are beautiful. When I started working with bodies, I also noticed changes in my relationship with mine, and instead of fighting it, I began to accept and pamper it.

And, when the pandemic arrived and I sat down with myself to ask what I really want to do, the answer came to me in a clear way: I want to change the paradigm of beauty. I want to accept myself completely and accompany those who want to accept themselves as well. I want to overthrow the oversexualization of the naked body, of nature, of the base, of the root.

But I can't do this alone. I need an army of women willing to do this with me. We must understand that the body is our home and is also the means of communication with our Spirit, that in our womb the creative force that characterizes us as women is born, and that if we display that force, if we allow ourselves to give it a voice, we discover our power, which is the power that resides in everything and everyone.

“Before our shoot I was desiring to launch new offerings for my business but didn’t feel I had the ability to do so or had a good way to present myself or my offerings.

Working with Flavia was so empowering. She made me feel like I was truly embodying my power. She helped me feel comfortable and at ease even in the moments where I felt insecure or unsure of how to act. I’ve never felt comfortable behind a camera but she changed this for me.”
